"Frozen Stars" is a 2003 Independent film produced by Charlotte Neilsen, written and directed by David Matthew Barnes. The Latino flavored coming-of-age story explores the lives of four young adults struggling with emotional conflicts, family issues, personal identities, religious beliefs and the overwhelming power of love and friendship.

Originally filmed in 1999, the film was released in 2003 by Los Angeles based Liberty Entertainment for domestic rights and Liberty International Entertainment for worldwide distribution. The film stars Lana Parrilla, Juan Monsalvez, Charlotte Nielsen, Eddie Rivera, Caesar Garcia, Yelba Osorio, Reynaldo Gallegos, Mateo Herreros, Leifi Phillips, Zach Johnson, and Robin Karfo.

Soundtrack

A song based soundtrack album featuring music from Frozen Stars was released through Liberty Entertainment.

Featuring tracks from Angelina, Lysa Flores, Brother, Jaci Velasquez, Wendy Maharry, Jamie Green, Clear, Heather Miller, Moonpools and Caterpillers, Crystal Lewis also includes "Love Theme from Frozen Stars" by score composer Shark.
