Dick Zimmer (Ohio politician)

Richard A. "Dick" Zimmer (March 1, 1933 – April 19, 2010) was an American politician of the Democratic Party.

Zimmer served as a commissioner on Dayton, Ohio's City Commission from 1978 to 1985, and from 1987 to 1996. Upon urging from the community to run in a general election again, he served a third term from 2002 to 2006. Prior to being elected to the Dayton City Commission, Zimmer served in the United States Navy.

Zimmer died of cancer on April 19, 2010, aged 77.[1]
