Queens Moat Houses PLC is a British public limited company engaged primarily in the
hotel business.It came to public attention after the suspension of its shares on
March 31 1993 consequent upon significant financial difficulties which precipitated a spectacular collapse. The company was subsequently investigated under Section 432(2) of theCompanies Act 1985 . Queens Moat House was bought byGoldman Sachs in August 2005. They then sold nine hotels. The twenty hotels that remained have changed to eitherHoliday Inn ,Crowne Plaza orBest Western .References
