not-for-profit , nonpartisan, community-based organization with multi-faceted goals and purposes that are charitable, cultural and educational in nature. APEX is one of the largestAsian American organizations in the United States targeting Asian Americans in their 20s and 30s, who areprofessionals ,entrepreneurs andgraduate students in the Southern California area.Mission and Purpose
The mission of APEX is to become the premier membership organization for Asian Americans in Southern California who have an unwavering commitment to excellence in
Professional Development ,Cultural Awareness , andCommunity Service .The purpose of APEX is to serve as a medium to bring increased awareness about and to Asian Americans through community service, fellowship, charitable fund-raisers, cultural events, professional networking, educational seminars and mentorship. By combining diverse skills and resources to support common goals, APEX strives to benefit not only the Asian American community, but society at large.
APEX Events
Some of APEX's trademark events that have brought together thousands of Asian Americans from all over the United States are the APEX Asian American Career Day, Lunar New Year Charity Gala, APEX/SNAPY Youth Olympics, APEX MBA/JD Forum, LOLLAPOLASIA Concert, APEX/NAAAP National Asian American Leadership Conference, and the Anniversary APEX Awards Extravaganza. Other regular events/programs include "APEX SERVES" Community Events, APEX Sports Day, Holiday Toy Drive Mixers, Professional Focus Dinners, APEX/LEAP Leadership Institute, Xmas Caroling, APEX Night at the Arts and the APEX/Anheuser-Busch March Fong Eu Community Fellowship.
APEX also supports and co-sponsors events/programs with a wide variety of community and professional organizations. Some of these have included the
Japanese American Citizens League , theOrganization of Chinese Americans , theEast West Players , and theCommittee of 100 .Fundraising
APEX has raised thousands of dollars in cash and donations for various for community-based organizations: Asian Pacific AIDS Education Project, Asian Pacific Health Care Venture, Asian Pacific American Legal Center, Asian Pacific Women’s Center, Asian Youth Center, Bowers Museum, East West Players, Korean American Coalition, Service Network for Asian Pacific Youth, Tuesday’s Child, U.S. Japanese American Soldiers WWII Memorial Foundation, Visual Communications, West San Gabriel Boys & Girls Club
