Burton, Lincolnshire

Burton is a village in Lincolnshire, England, situated approximately 3 km (2 miles) north of Lincoln, sitting on the side of the cliff overlooking the Trent Valley.

Many of the houses in this generally prosperous village are built from the same luminous local limestone that Lincoln Cathedral is built from.

Most if not all of children and teenagers aged between 11-16 attend the comprehensive school in Winterton, which has specialist status in engineering.
