"The Architect" is a 2006 film in which architect Leo Waters (Anthony LaPaglia) is confronted by angry residents of a housing complex he designed. The buildings have created a culture of crime in the neighborhood and the residents want them pulled down.

Plot

Architect Leo Waters' marriage is in trouble. His son Martin drops out of college and his daughter Christina has entered her mid-teens. Tonya Neely is a community organizer who lives in the high-rise public housing Leo designed years before. The residents want the projects razed, and she comes to Leo asking him to sign her petition. His wife, Julia supports Tonya. Martin goes to see for himself and begins a friendship with homo-erotic potential. In the meantime, Christina puts herself at risk seeking affirmation.
