Lindbergh (The Eagle Of The U.S.A.)

Lindbergh (The Eagle Of The U.S.A.)

. The song was an overnight hit being released immediately on the heels of Lindbergh's safe landing.

Trivia

The song features the first, on record, sound effect. At the beginning of the recording what sounds like an in-flight airplane propeller is in fact a deck of playing cards being struck by an electric fan blade.
