Shaibah

Shaibah

Shaibah is the site of an airfield near Zubair, south west of Basrah in Iraq. It was an RAF base from 1920 to 1956 when it was then handed over to the Iraqi Air Force. Since the Gulf War of 2003 it has been the site of a British Military Hospital and logistics base.RAF Shaibah [http://www.habbaniya.org RAF Habbaniya]
