- Citation style language
The Citation Style Language, commonly abbreviated CSL, is an
XML schema created by Bruce D'Arcus which describesbibliographic andcitation formatting. While the functionality is similar to , it is authored inRELAX NG . CSL is used by variousreference management software , includingZotero andCiteProc . CSL andCiteProc , along withCite Schema make up the [http://xbiblio.sourceforge.net/ XBib] project, aGPL -licensed effort to provide Bibliographies and Citations for XML.
