Gather 'Round was an educational series that was syndicated on numerous PBS stations for the brief time period of September 1 1978 until January 1 1979.The series was a show where stories were narrated alongside charcoal drawings drawn as the narrator told the story.The series was a production of CTI/Glad and was shown mainly during weekday in-school telecasts.

Gather 'Round was a series of short videotaped programs that generally ran for 15 minutes or less that were hosted/narrated by Paul Lally and featured the charcoal drawings of Rae Owings.As Lally narrated the stories, Owings would draw pictures with a charcoal pencil showing the action happening within the story being told.
Trivia
Paul Lally and Rae Owings were responsible for the behind the scenes production work on other shows such as "Cover to Cover" -produced by WETA, and "The Word Shop".
