Nas'Naga (1941- ) is the pen-name of Shawnee writer Roger Russell. He was the fourth writer published in the Harper & Row Native American Publishing series.
His only novel, Indians' Summer (1975), depicts the revolution of most Native American and First Nations tribes against the US and Canadian colonial governments. The tribes were aided in this effort by the Mughal government of India.
Russell published two volumes of poetry under the name Nas'Naga. Then he returned to work as a community activist.
Of Scots and Shawnee descent, Russell lives in Columbus, Ohio.
