Pro-Administration Party and aFederalist , Cabot's political career began in 1775 and lasted until he became a delegate to the Hartford Convention of 1814. He died inBoston, Massachusetts in 1823 and was interred in theMount Auburn Cemetery inCambridge, Massachusetts .He was the great-grandfather of
