Singapore and Gemas - are express trains which only stop at major stations. The East Coast line still has mail trains which stop at all stations and halts.KTM had previously operate a "shuttle service" between
Johor Bahru andSingapore for the benefit of those commuting to the city-state for work, however this service was terminated with effect from April 15, 2006. This was due to KTM Berhad's track rehabilitation project betweenSeremban andSingapore .Operational services
The following are services in operation as at 04 October 2008. Express trains have limited stops. Mail trains, which also carry passengers, stop in every station and halt.
