Francie Brolly MLA is an Irish republican politician in from Dungiven, Northern Ireland and a retired teacher. He was first elected in to the Northern Ireland Assembly in 2003 and was re-elected in 2007 as a Sinn Féin member for East Derry.

Brolly takes a keen interest in Irish culture and as a result is the spokesperson for Sinn Féin on Culture, Arts and Leisure. He is an Irish language enthusiast [http://www.sinnfeinassembly.com/en/assembly-members/entry/24 Sinn Féin Assembly members] ] and a long standing member of the Gaelic Athletic Association and has played football for Derry. He is an Executive Committee Member of St. Canice's GAC Dungiven. Brolly is also a lyricist and musician, most famously the author of the The H-Block Song.

His wife, Anne Brolly was the first ever Sinn Féin Mayor of Limavady between 2003 and 2004, the council to which she was elected in 2001.
