Arthur Silkin, 2nd Baron Silkin

Arthur Silkin, 2nd Baron Silkin (1916–2001) was the eldest son of the solicitor Lewis Silkin. He disclaimed his father's hereditary peerage in 1972 and his example was followed by his nephew Christopher in 2002.

His brothers were the politicians John and Samuel Silkin.
