- Group hug
group hug is a
website that publishes anonymousconfession s. Readers of the site are encouraged to "confess" using a simple form. All confessions go through a lengthy public screening process before appearing on the main page. The site was launched in October2003 by Gabriel Jeffrey and it remains a "spare-time project" of Jeffrey and Adam Bregenzer. As of 2005 , the site is quite popular, appealing to both voyeuristic andexhibitionist tendencies, having more than 400,000 confessions. A book, "Stoned, Naked and Looking in My Neighbor's Window" (ISBN 1-932112-36-7 published by Justin, Charles & Company), compiles confessions from the site. There is also a UK-specific edition of the book (ISBN 0-7432-6826-1 published by Simon & Schuster UK).Due to its popularity the site has now a European (Dutch-speaking) version.
