Equatorial Bank is a commercial bank based in Kenya. The bank's headquarters are in Nairobi. Equatorial Bank is part of the Sameer Group of Companies. Its name is abbreviated to ECB.

History

Equatorial began in 1983 as a finance company and became a commercial bank in 1995. It is growing its consumer banking operations with the development of credit cards, internet banking, an ATM network etc.

Operations

The bank currently has three branches; two in Nairobi and one in Mombasa.
