The University of Business and International Studies (UBIS) [http://www.ubis-geneva.ch/] is a private university founded on February 6, 2006 in the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland.
Our primary goal is to establish a respected, quality international university offering undergraduate and graduate programs in Business Administration, International Relations, and Media and Communication, supported by an appropriate research program.
Students and working individuals from different cultural origins will benefit from accredited university programs and a high-quality education in English, enabling them to be successful and valuable to organizations in the rapid globalizing context of the modern world.MISSION STATEMENTThe University of Business and International Studies Geneva (UBIS) shall
- Provide students with a strong academic foundation and encourage student interest in learning through access to information using modern information technology.
- Provide the appropriate educational resources necessary to satisfy the academic requirements within an open admissions system.
- Encourage student skills in leadership for activities in global business and in an international environment.
- Become the education provider of choice for human resource and training managers in the Geneva area.
- Maximize the learning opportunities that arise from a multi-cultural environment.
- Pursue research, development, and innovative activities that shall contribute to solving problems in society, the environment, and the economy.
- Place the highest importance on the development of faculty and staff.
