(1997)"Kids on the Street" is the third studio album by the American band
Cherry Poppin' Daddies , released in 1996 on indie labelSpace Age Bachelor Pad Records ."Kids in the Street" marks a departure from the band's previous works; instead of the usual multi-genre routine, "Kids" is predominantly straightforward, guitar-driven alternative rock, featuring less emphasis on brass instruments. The majority of the album is rock- and
grunge -influenced, although there are brief touches ofska ,country ,funk , swing, andsouthern rock . Some fans and critics regard this as the Daddies' attempt to be more radio-friendly.The success of "Kids on the Street" helped the Daddies to get picked up by major label
