Automat Pictures

Automat Pictures is an entertainment production company based in Los Angeles, which specializes in EPK/DVD Added Value, as well original television programming and independent feature documentary production. Automat has contributed content for many DVDs, among them "Sex and the City", "Hairspray", "A Nightmare on Elm Street", "Blue Velvet", "Elf", "Final Destination", "Goodfellas", "Philadelphia", "Psycho", "Resident Evil", "Rent", "Snakes on a Plane", and many others.

Automat has produced the feature documentaries "Spine Tingler! The William Castle Story", about legendary film producer and director William Castle, and "Wrangler: Anatomy of an Icon" about 70s adult film star Jack Wrangler. Automat is also in development on "Planet Kuchar", a biopic of notorious underground filmmaker George Kuchar.

Automat was founded by Jeffrey Schwarz in 2000.
