"Lymnaea stagnalis", the great pond snail, is a species of freshwater gastropod from the family Lymnaeidae.

Description

Height of shell: 45-60 mm. Width of shell: 20-30 (34) mm.

Distribution and biotope

Distribuiton: Holarctic. It is widely distributed species, common in many countries.
