Raymond B. Stewart Middle School

Garland V. Stewart Middle School is a middle school in Tampa, Florida. It opened in 1956 under the name Blake Junior High School after Howard W. Blake. It was an African American school until August 30, 1971 when federal judge Ben Krentzman ordered bussing. The school was then closed due to desegregation and got its current name. The school re-opened after the order was lifted.
