- CX3CR1
Only one member belongs to the CX3C sub-family of
chemokine receptor s - CX3CR1. As the name suggests, this receptor binds the chemokineCX3CL1 (also called neurotactin or fractalkine).Expression of this receptor appears to be associated with
lymphocytes . [Imai et al. Identification and molecular characterization of fractalkine receptor CX3CR1, which mediates both leukocyte migration and adhesion. Cell 91: 521-530, 1997. ]References
