Woodlawn Middle School is located in Long Grove, Illinois, just northwest of Chicago. The school is part of Kildeer Countryside Community Consolidated School District 96. Woodlawn was built during the summer of 1999 along with its neighboring school, Country Meadows.

Overview

Opened in the summer of 1999, Woodlawn Middle School is located in Long Grove, IL on Gilmer Road. Woodlawn Middle School is one of two schools, the latter being the elementary school, Country Meadows, which is attached to the middle school. The core curriculum consists of:

*Math
*English
*Social Studies
*Science
*A Foreign Language and/or Options (An "Introduction To Middle School Course")
*Physical Education
*Encore (Art, Technology, Music, FACS (Family and Consumer Science), and Communications)

The school consists of three grades: sixth, seventh, and eighth.
