The street address is 850 Pulaski Street, about three miles southeast of the downtown area. The station opened in 1991, replacing the 1903-built Seaboard Air Line station two blocks east.[2]
Of the 11 South Carolina stations served by Amtrak, Columbia was the third-busiest in FY2010, boarding or detraining an average of approximately 100 passengers daily.[3]
