Charles Sheehan-Miles

Charles Sheehan-Miles (b. Atlanta, Georgia, United States, 1971) is an American veterans advocate and writer.

He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and served in the U.S. Army in the 1991 Persian Gulf War. Sheehan-Miles served as a tank crewman in the 24th Infantry Division and was decorated for valor for helping rescue fellow tank crewmen from a burning tank during the battle at Rumayla oil field[1]. Following the Gulf War, he has been involved with multiple advocacy organizations, including the National Gulf War Resource Center (as executive director), the Nuclear Policy Research Institute (as executive director, the organization was founded by Helen Caldicott), the Education for Peace in Iraq Center (as a board member) and Veterans for Common Sense (as founder/executive director).

He is the author of two novels:
