Frank Lawrence Lucas (1894 - 1967) was an English literary critic, essayist, poet, and Fellow of
King's College, Cambridge . He is now best remembered for his scathing attacks on the poetry ofT. S. Eliot , during the 1920s, and his book "Style" (1955), though students of Aristotle's "Poetics" will relish reading his "Tragedy" (1927, substantially revised in 1957).Works
