Sasha Ivanov is a Russian-born film composer working in Hollywood, CA.

Biography

Born in Moscow, Ivanov started extensive music education at the elite "Gnessin State Musical College" at the age of four. There he gained in-depth knowledge and experience in saxophone, piano and composition. At the age of 21 he was awarded full scholarships from "Manhattan School of Music" and "Berklee College of Music", where he studied film scoring, orchestration and songwriting.

In 2001 Sasha relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a film composer. He successfully scored a number of feature films and TV films including: "The Heart of The King", "Echo", "Jabez", "Sailing for Madagascar", "Metro", "Atache Case" and many others. Sasha's compositions were released on a number of American as well as European albums. And his music was recognized and performed by some of the best musicians.
