* W.A.C.O.R: Woodlands Academy Council of Representatives. Student government, consisting of one elected representative from each advisoryclarifyme|date=October 2007, and three main positions: President, Vice President, and Secretary Treasurer. Deals with school wide issues such as classes, dances, and maintenance.

* Conge- A surprise day when classes are cancelled and students spend the rest of the day having fun. Conge is also the name of the annual benefit party planned by the mother's club.
* Sacred Heart Awards- A peer award given to two members of each class at the end of each quarter.
* Gouter- A surprise special treat, served on special occasions. It is usually a pink food.
* Wildcat of the week award- A spirit award given to students who show the most school spirit. The winner is decided by the student council.
* Cache Cache- A french game of hide and seek.
* Red and White Days- Students are out of uniform and get to wear their team colors.
* Honors Assemblies- Assemblies held twice a year to honor strong academics.
* May Crowning- A traditional way to honor Mary, by crowning her with a wreath of flowers. Students are voted upon by their peers.
* Ring Ceremony- Junior are given their school rings and inducted into the society of the Sacred Heart.
* Lambs at the Crib- A christmas tradition with the school's creche scene. Each student is given a lamb to place by the manger and can periodically move it closer to Jesus.
* Switch Night- The Day students spend the night at the boarding house

* 2007 Spring Season: North Suburban Crew team (club team associated with Woodlands Academy) makes it to nationals for Rowing in two boats: lightweight 4 and varsity 4.
* 2006 Fall Season: Sister-sister pair Annie and Maura Sullivan are ranked 6th in state in doubles tennis. Junior Varsity ranked first in Inter Scholastic League.*In 2008, the Woodlands club crew team better known as North Suburban Crew "(NSC)" "ranked 8th in the country" for lightweight fours, setting a record for their crew team and Woodlands Academy sports. Four out of the five girls in the boat attended Woodlands Academy.
