Schools of the Sacred Heart

The Schools of The Sacred Heart Network is a network of private, Catholic schools throughout the world. The program revolves around five goals:

*Educate to a personal and active faith in God
*Educate to a deep respect for intellectual values
*Educate to a social awareness which impels to action
*Educate to the building of community as a Christian value
*Educate to a personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom

The network was founded by the French Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat.Cite web|url=http://berchmans.org/site76.php|title=SJB: About Us|accessdate=2008-03-11|publisher=St. John Berchmans School] In some schools of the Sacred Heart, a separate boys school called Hardey Preparatory are mixed in with the Academy girls. The Network of Sacred Heart Schools is an association of Sacred Heart schools across the United States. In addition, there are numerous schools affiliated with or run by the Society of the Sacred Heart around the world.
