Houston two step

A Houston Two Step is a cocktail containing jagermeister, tequila, and red bull. 8 ounces of red bull is mixed with 1 ounce of jagermeister in a pint glass. A shot of tequila is then dropped into the glass.

History

The Houston Two Step was first created on February 24th, 2007 at Slainte Irish Pub in Houston, TX. The drink arose from a compromise between drinking jager bombs and shots of tequila. Upon consumption, the inventors realized that the syrupy texture of a jager bomb was eliminated and they were free to consume the Houston Two Step without discomfort to their palette.

Preparation and serving

It is important that the shot of tequila be dropped in right before the drink is consumed as to not let the tequila settle within the ingredients.

* 1 oz. jagermeister
* 8 oz. red bull
* 1 shot tequila
