Hamano station is an above-ground station with an elevated station building, and has two sets of tracks running around an
island platform . There are plans, expected to begin in November of 2007, to extend the platform length to facilitate stopping of high speed trains. The station has east and west exits, is managed directly, has MARS computer terminals, automatic ticket machines, and automatic ticket gates.Usage
In 2005, there were approximately 5,443 passengers per day using Hamano station.
