Leabgarrow

Leabgarrow (official name An Leadhb Gharbh) [ [http://www.commissioner.ie/downloads/An_tOrdu_Logainmneacha_(Ceantair_Ghaeltachta)_2004.pdf Placenames (Ceantair Ghaeltachta) Order 2004] ] is on Arranmore Island which is to the west of County Donegal about three miles from Burtonport. Translated to the English language, Leabgarrow means "Rough Ground". The islands post office, secondary school and ferry port are located in Leabgarrow.
