Navipet — village — Coordinates Country India State Andhra Pradesh Time zone IST (UTC+05:30) Navipet is a village and a Mandal in Nizamabad district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]
The holy pilgrim place Basara is just 14 km from Navipet. The goddess Saraswati in Basara is known as Goddess of learning. Previously in Navipet there was a Video Parlour by name 'Ganga Video Parlour' which was the first video parlour (theatre). Later, it has been closed for its obsolete technology.
As this is near to Nizamabad town, ease of transportation from district headquarters round the clock helps it being a well-connected village. This village is spread on the both sides of Nizamabad-Basara road. The competition in all market domains is healthier... either it be grocery stores or educational institutions. State-of-the-art secondary education is taught at Sri Madhava VidyaNiketan High School, which was established three decades ago and going still strong.
One of the branches of Navata Road Transport is in Navipet. There is a huge competition among businesspeople here. Particularly there is a good competition in Tent houses in Navipet. The most renowned tent house here is 'Ganga Tent House'.
Navipet also borders the state of Maharastra. Triveni Sangam is just 10–12 km from Navipet.

Pothangal is one of the very famous near by Navipet. Agriculture in Pothagal has a long history dating back to ten thousand years. Today, Pothangal ranks top 10 in and around Nizamabad in farm output. Agriculture and allied sectors like forestry and logging accounted for 16.6% of the GDP in 2007, employed 60% of the total workforce and despite a steady decline of its share in the GDP, is still the largest economic sector and plays a significant role in the overall socio-economic development of Nizamabd.
Pothagal is the largest producer in the Navipet of Rice.
