"Saint Praxidis" is an oil painting attributed to both Felice Ficherelli and Johannes Vermeer van Delft. It might be the earliest work of Vermeer [ [http://www.irsa.com.pl/?lang=En IRSA Publishing House ] ] something however strongly disputed. [ J. Wadum, 'Contours of Vermeer', in "Vermeer Studies". Washington/New Haven (1998) 201-223.] It depicts the early Roman martyr Saint Praxidis (Praxedes). It was offered for sale at Christie's in late October 2007Fact|date=April 2008 and exhibited at the Pashkov House of Moscow, starting from October 18 2007.
