Estosadok

Estosadok, sometimes spelled Esto-Sadok ( _ru. Э́стосадо́к or _ru. Э́сто-Садо́к; _et. Eesti Aiake, lit. "Estonian Garden") is a village ("selo") under the jurisdiction of Adlersky City District of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the Mzymta River, km to mi|4 upstream from Krasnaya Polyana.

The settlement was founded in 1886 by thirty-six Estonian families, who arrived on August 21, 1886 to Krasnaya Polyana to render habitable the lands formerly settled by the Ubykh and Sadz.

Population of Estosadok is 400. [http://www.runewsweek.ru/rubrics/print.php?rubric=society&rid=305] There are the ruins of a Circassian fort and the memorial house of the Estonian writer Anton Tammsaare. It is the location of the alpine ski resort Alpika-Service. A railway station of Sochi Light Metro is planned to connect this area with Sochi International Airport, Sochi Olympic Village and the downtown of Sochi.
