- Fort Frye High School
Fort Frye High School is a public
high school inBeverly, Ohio . It is the only high school in the Fort Frye Local School District. Their nickname/mascot is the Cadets. They are members of theOhio Valley Athletic Conference .There is no Middle School in the Fort Frye Local School District. All students, following elementary school after the sixth grade, attend classes within the single building that houses Fort Frye High School.
There are four active Elementary Schools in the Fort Frye Local Schools District: Beverly Elementary, Lowell Elementary (
Lowell, Ohio ), Salem-Liberty Elementary (Lower Salem, Ohio ) and Center Elementary (Hackney, Ohio ). However, it should be noted that Center Elementary was closed upon the conclusion of the 2006/2007 school year, due mainly to budgetary reasons. The remaining Center students were instead bused to Beverly Elementary.Center school was closed in 2007. Most of the students from Center went to Beverly Elementary which has since been renamed-Bevery-Center Elementary.
