Cyclase

A cyclase is an enzyme, almost always a lyase, that catalyzes a chemical reaction to form a cyclic compound. Important cyclase enzymes include:

• Adenylyl cyclase, which forms cyclic AMP from adenosine triphosphate
• Guanylyl cyclase, which forms cyclic GMP from guanosine triphosphate
