The
University of Santo Tomas is the Host School for the UAAP Season 70. Fr. Ermito de Sagon, O.P., Director of the UST Institute of Physical Education and Athletics and President ofUAAP Season 70 will lead the UAAP organizers, members and fans from the eight institution members in the various events which will be held in various venues during the season.General Champion
The UST Juniors Division (USTHS) holds the
General Championship Title last UAAP Season 70, winning various sports title in taekwondo, swimming, etc. UST Juniors division holds 10 General Championship trophy all in all since 1986.UST High School & Ateneo High School Rivalries
The rivalry is usually seen in the juniors' division where in almost all sports,
Ateneo de Manila High School andUST High School would always meet in the Finals. In Junior's Basketball and Junior's Volleyball, there was a point that the Blue Eaglets and Tiger Cubs met for ten consecutive times. To sum it all up, the Blue Eaglets and the Tiger Cubs met in the Finals for 17 times in Junior's Basketball while 16 times in Junior's Volleyball. Likewise, in Junior's Taekwondo, Ateneo de Manila and UST have won 6 titles apiece. There also other sports that both these two teams dominate so the rivalry is really present in the juniors division.Facilities
