An Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) is an enterprise platform that supports the planning, design, management, utilization and disposal of an organization's location based assets. IWMS systems assist organizations in optimizing the use of workplace resources, including the management of a company's real estate portfolio, infrastructure and facilities assets. Four of the primary areas of functionality include Lease Administration, Project Management, Space Management and Maintenance Management. For the last several years,the IWMS space has been reported on by Gartner; an annual Gartner Magic Quadrant (MQ)is posted on the IWMS space that evaluates the leading vendors in market place. The latest Gartner Magic Quadrant has been released July 31, 2008.
