Keith Colwell is a Canadian politician and member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly, representing the riding of Preston for the Nova Scotia Liberal Party. He was first elected in the 1993 election for the riding of Eastern Shore and re-elected in the 1998 election. He was defeated in the 1999 election by Bill Dooks.

He was elected to the Halifax Regional Council for the Halifax Regional Municipality representing District 3, Preston/Porters Lake in 1999 and was re-elected in 2000.

He returned to the legislature in the 2003 election representing the riding of Preston and was re-elected in the 2006 election. He is currently the chair of the Economic Development Committee and the Liberal critic for Environment, Labour, Liquor Control Board, African Nova Scotia Affairs, and the Workers Compensation Act
