Sir William Barker, 5th Baronet

Sir William Barker, 5th Baronet (1685 – 23 July 1731) was a British politician.

The son of Sir John Barker, 4th Baronet and Bridget Bacon, he succeeded to his father's baronetcy in 1696. Barker was Member of Parliament (MP) for Ipswich from 1708 to 1713. He was further MP for Thetford between 1713 and 1715 and for Suffolk between 1722 and 1731.

Barker was married firstly to Mary Bence, daughter of John Bence. He married secondly in St Marylebone Church in London on 9 February 1731. He had one son by his first wife, John Barker.
