The Holy Filament is a psychedelic song by the band Mr. Bungle. It was written by Trevor Dunn. The lyrics are based upon Dunn's musings on string theory, the theory that the universe is infinite in time and space, never began and will never end, found in the book The Big Bang Never Happened by plasma physicist Eric J. Lerner.

The Holy Filament features many strange noises, as well as vocals altered to give an ambient sound.
