The Five Colored-Face Devils

The Five Colored-Face Devils

The Five Colored-Face Devils a set of five characters featured within the famed ancient Chinese novel "Investiture of the Gods" (more commonly known as "Fengshen Yanyi").

These devils, known as the Five Colored-Face Devils have been situated within a large garden near the PEONY PAVILION and have played and guarded the pavilion for centuries upon centuries. One day Jiang Baby Tooth begins to build a five-room villa within their territory and the five devils summon a large tornado to destroy the production of Jiang's new tower. Stones and dust are continuously thrown around while the five demons stand together within their fire whirlwind. Once Jiang presents himself before the five demons, they all beg for mercy and ask forgiveness, considering that the area had been their territory for many a year. Following this, Jiang tells the five demons to go to the Western Foothills of Mount Singling Phoenix and never be seen again elsehere. The demons comply and are never seen again.
