Sasha Carter

Sasha Carter

Sasha Carter (born July 20, 1974) also known as Sasha Bergner, is a Canadian curler. She currently plays second for Kelly Scott.

Carter has been a long time team mate of Scott. In 1995 they won the Manitoba junior provincial championship, the Canadian Junior Curling Championships and the World Junior Curling Championships. Both Scott and Carter moved to British Columbia and remained team mates there. While in BC, Carter won the 2006 Scott Tournament of Hearts with Scott, and a bronze medal at the 2006 Ford World Women's Curling Championship. They would repeat winning the 2007 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and then winning the gold medal at the 2007 World Women's Curling Championship.

Outside of curling, Carter works as a marketing manager, for Equinox Financial Group.
