middle school inWest Seattle , the southwest portion ofSeattle, Washington . Operated bySeattle Public Schools , Denny Middle School opened in1952 . It is named for David T. Denny, one of Seattle’s early settlers and an early member of the Seattle School Board.One of Denny Middle School’s many assets is its
cultural diversity. Exploratory classes include Spanish, Proyecto Saber (Spanish for "Project: To Know"),Mandarin Chinese ,mariachi band ,steel drums andworld music choir. Other musical opportunities includemarching band ,jazz band andorchestra .
