Stereo Sound Agency is a professional skateboard company based out of Los Angeles, California.

History

Professional skateboarders Jason Lee, (who was riding for Blind), and Chris Pastras, (who was riding for World Industries), left their sponsors to start Stereo, headquartered in San Francisco under Deluxe Distribution in 1992.

In 1996, Lee left professional skateboarding to pursue his burgeoning acting career. Pastras took over Stereo on his own until 2000 when he retired the brand and went on to pursue other interests outside of the skateboard industry.

Reformation

Lee and Pastras partnered up again in 2003 to restart the brand, this time under Giant Distribution, and maintained their careers and outside interests, with Jason starring in the NBC sitcom My Name Is Earl, and Chris' art career. On January 24, 2007 Stereo launched the High Fidelity Wheel Company, a separate skateboard wheel line consisting of Stereo pros Danny Supa, and Daniel Shimizu, and Chocolate Skateboards pro Chris Roberts as the team riders.
