"Atrium" is a new building and the extension of the University of Glamorgan, which was officially opened on 29 November 2007. [cite web |url= http://news.glam.ac.uk/news/en/2007/nov/28/cardiffs-most-exciting-campus-opens/|publisher= University of Glamorgan|title= Cardiff’s Most Exciting Campus Opens|accessdate=2008-09-09] The building (which houses most departments of the Cardiff School of Creative & Cultural Industries or CCI for short) is located on Adam Street, near Queen Street Station in Cardiff.

Background

The building, comprised of a refurbished former BT office block and a newly built extension, linked by a glass atrium / entrance area, it houses many of the departments which were based at the main campus in Trefforest. The facilities include a television studio, two tiered theatre/cinema auditoriums and gallery.
