- Barham Salih
Barham Ahmad Salih (Kurdish: بئرﻫئم أحمد صالح ;Arabic: برهم أحمد صالح) born 1960) is a Kurdish
politician who serves as Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq. He was elected to theIraqi National Assembly in December 2005 as part of theKurdistani Alliance list. Cardiff University and an MSc in statistics and computer modelling atLiverpool University and finally received his Ph. D in oceanography. While working as an engineering consultant, he served as spokesman for thePatriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) inLondon and later in Washington.Political career
