November 30 ,1966 in Chamonix,France ) is a former professional hockey player who played in the NHL for the St. Louis Blues from the 1991–1992 season until the 1994–1995 season. His position was left wing. He is the first Frenchman to play in the NHL, and is considered by some to be the best French-born player of all time.Bozon began his career by playing for the St. Jean Beavers in the QMJHL followed by four years competing in his native France. Playing for Grenoble, he won the French league championship in 1991. He was then picked up by the Blues and was used as a defensive minded forward and occasionally on the scoring line with
Brett Hull . After his time with the Blues, Bozon played professionally inGermany andSwitzerland . In Germany, his Mannheim team won the league championship in 1997.In addition to his professional career, Bozon starred internationally on the French national hockey team, for which he competed in four Olympic Games.
He was inducted in 1998 into the IIHF Hall of fame.
